Expedia Group
When the pandemic hit, travel stopped. So, Expedia Group wanted to create an initiative to help re-open the world. For each booking made in one of Expedia Group’s apps we made a donation to help UNICEF’s global COVID-19 response in vulnerable communities in over 180 countries. To help spread the word, we developed a marketing campaign that spanned the entire family of Expedia Group brands.
The Give The World A Shot campaign was crowned the Gold Winner in the Consumer-Activated Corporate-Donation category of the Halo Awards program. The initiative also took home the coveted title — Best of the Best.
